Market Recap – Huge Price Moves

Every now and then I’ll do a market recap where I look at some huge price movers. For this introductory version, I’m just going to list about 5 of the best performing stocks for today. There are some huge gainers today, even though the market was down overall. If you like riding the waves, check these out.

Best performing stocks for today:

  1. HealthTronics, Inc (HTRN) – Stock was up 32.60% today ($4.80 per share) on volume of about 20.5 million.
  2. AEterna Zentaris, Inc (AEZS) – It rose 24.19% on 23 million shares of volume.
  3. Commerical Vehicle Group (CVGI) – 14.32% increase to $11.02 per share.
  4. Colony Bankcorp, Inc (CBAN) – Not too much trading here—about 49,000 shares—but it increased by 12% to $8.66 per share.
  5. Merrill Lynch & Co (SMM) – NYSE traded stock, up 31.41% to $5.48 per share off limited trading.
